The details regarding the course, admission procedure, documents required for verification and the deadline for the same has been mentioned in this article. The Delhi University offers courses in UG, PG and doctoral degrees in the colleges affiliated with the Delhi University. The admission will be done by the merit list and through the entrance examination conducted by the University itself. The Delhi University counselling will be done by offline procedure where the admission seekers have to report to their respective colleges to which they are selected for and then the rest of the formalities will be carried out.
Delhi University Admission Procedure 2019
The admission will be started as mentioned in the deadline chart mentioned below. First of all the cut off will be released for the various subjects. There will be an entrance test for certain subjects and there will be merit based admission, the cut-off for both of these would be mentioned and released by the University itself on a mentioned date. For merit based admissions ten cut-off list are released. The Delhi University counselling will be done by offline procedure where the admission seekers have to report to their respective colleges to which they are selected and interested in. Cut-off is the minimum marks required by the candidates to appear in the admission procedure.
There are various rounds in the admissions in which the students are eliminated in each round that also includes G. D and P. I to get admission.
The Delhi University cut-off will be released on the 3rd or 4th week of June 2019.

For taking admission through merit, a candidate has to get more marks than the cut off for their respective subjects. The steps are mentioned below.
- First of all, the candidates have to register on the official website of Delhi University as and when they will be available through the online application form.
- Payment needs to be paid which will be nearly two hundred and fifty rupees.
- The Delhi University will then release the cut-off for the respective subjects and colleges.
- These cut-offs can be viewed from the website they provide.
- The cut off qualifiers should login to their respective accounts through the website provided.
- Then the preferences should be locked and the admission form should be generated.
- Then the candidates have to report to their respective colleges with the required documents and the admission form.
- The college will verify the details and approve the application on the Web portal.
- Then the student has to login again and pay the full fees to confirm the admission.

Documents Required for the Counselling Process

The examination schedule for the admissions in entrance based courses and the merit based courses are almost the same and the admission in the P.
