IBPS CLERK 2019-20 Vacancy:

On September 14, the total number of vacancies for IBPS Clerk has been liberated with its official notification. It has been introduced 7275 vacancies for IBPS Clerk recruitment 2019-20. As per the last year ‘OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION’ vacancies were 7883 in total.

IBPS Clerk 2019 Application Form:

Contenders can fill online form for clerical post examination visiting the official website of IBPS. The charge for application form is Rs.600 for general entrants and Rs.100 for SC/ST/Ex-SM entrants. The forms can be taken or downloaded too from the authorized website of IBPS. It is suggested to read the form filling do and don’t to avoid any mistake.

The exam of IBPS clerk takes place in two steps first preliminary examination take place that covers 100 question of English, numeric ability and reasoning. The second stage is the main examination that is of 200 marks of English, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge and Reasoning ability. Applicants are placed in banks or branches according to merit achieved in the exam. No interview is conducted after examination to place individuals in the bank.

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern:

The exam occurs in two stages one is prelims and other is mains. Both of them follow the online mode of conducting the written examination.

Phase 1: Prelims Examination is an online exam for testing a candidate on the basis of their aptitude, intellect, and English. There are three section in whole and aspirants must clear the cut off of each section to proceed to the mains exam round.

Phase 2: IBPS Clerk Main Examination after many updates now the question paper will be constitute of 190 questions that need to be finished in the given time frame of 160 minutes. Now there is another change that computer aptitude and reasoning ability are amalgamated together and will cover up almost 50 questions which should be solved in 45 minutes.

There is negative marking in both the examination preliminary as well as the main examination. A wrong answer will lead to a penalty of one-fourth of the total mark which is assigned to that question

Eligibility Criteria:

Before filling the application form one must read the eligibility criteria carefully.

  • As per the age limit: The aspirant must be 20 to 28 years old. If there is any update then it will be released with official notification.
  • Educational qualification: An aspirants must be holding the minimum qualification of under graduation in any of the discipline from a recognized university. The aspirant should have passed in English as one of the subjects in SSC and HSC. They should be holding the proof of passing the qualifying examination.
  • Nationality: Only citizens of India, Nepal, Tibetan, Bhutan, and migrated people from Burma, Malawi, Sri-Lanka, Kenya, Zambia, Pakistan, Zaira who came here to live in state permanently are eligible to fill the application form.
  • Hence, reserved aspirants will get the moderation in their age as per the norms set by the government body.
