NDA is an abbreviation for National Defence Academy. This military institute is the foremost academy for the youth to join the Indian Defence Forces (Army, Navy and Air Force etc.). It is the place where learners of Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and Indian Navy before they appear in their relevant services academies for pre-commissioning training and they get all the training together. National Defense Academy is one of the first and prime tri-service academies for the talented students in the world who are having keen interest to serve the people for the country save it from their enemies and other attacks. NDA applicants are selected by leading a written exam, SSB and private interview. NDA exam is organized twice a year in the months of April and August. Near Pune, Maharashtra NDA academy is located. The UPSC is entirely incharge for issuing all the rules and regulations for the selection and the final step of the entrance examination. The NDA exam includes 3 levels, the written examination, SSB and personal interview.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA Exam 2019

  • Organizers who are responsible NDA Exam are quite strict for all type of eligibility criteria. Here are the eligibility criteria just read it carefully before attempting for this exam.
  • Candidates must be an Indian Citizen. A Nepal or Bhutan residents can also apply.
  • For the motive of permanently settled in India, the Tibetan refugee and various Indian origin candidates who are migrated from Zambia, Uganda, Ethiopia, Malawi, and Vietnam to India are also eligible to apply.
  • For both the levels:
  • On paper 1 age limit for the candidate who is born between July 2000 to 1st July 2003 are eligible to apply.
  • For NDA Level 2 exam the age limit for the candidate who is born between 2nd January 2001 to 1st July 2004.
  • For Navy or Air force, candidate should pass the equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as a subject.
  • For Army candidates of 10+2 level for any of the stream are eligible to apply and there are no criteria for minimum marks you’ve to score for any of the candidates.
  • Above all most important point to remember is the NDA always considers unmarried males for the post.

NDA 2019 Application Form:

Application who really wants to make their career in NDA need to apply for the online form from their authorized website. In their prescribed format just fill the form correctly and pay the application fee by using any mode like net banking, debit card, credit card etc. and then you’re ready to submit. This entire process of filling the application form should be done between 21 April 2019 to 13th May 2019. Entrant has to fill this form by uploading their passport size photograph and their signatures in the given space.

Exam Pattern for NDA 2019:

  • There are two phases for the NDA Exam and both the phases are comprised of papers.
  • Entrance exam of NDA will be held in both the language English as well as Hindi.
  • Like most of the test, this exam will be organized through offline mode.
  • The whole paper will be multiple choice question-based.
  • Above all, most importantly candidate should know that there is negative marking for every wrong answer. So tick the correct answer carefully.
  • Subjects are: Mathematics, General Awareness test, time duration will be 2 hr 30 minutes. Maximum marks will be 300.
  • After giving the exam, few days later shortlisted entrants will be invited for the SSB Interview. It will be conducted for 4 to 5 days. And whosoever successfully pass through these steps will be called for document verification process and medical and fitness test.

Results for NDA 2019

After the completion of all the exams, results will be announced on the official portal of UPSC. And to check the results entrants have to enter their date of birth, roll number etc. in the space given.
